Don’t go if your skin has undergone trauma. If you’ve recently had certain facial treatments done, used retinol, or have a sunburn, it is probably best to save the wax for later. You should also avoid waxing if you have any irritation or open skin on the area to be waxed.
Make sure you have enough hair growth. Hair that is too short or too long is harder to wax properly.
When waxing is performed, a warm wax will be applied to the area using an applicator. It will be spread in the direction of hair growth to ensure the best results. Then, a paper or cloth strip will be placed on top of the wax. Once the wax is dry enough, the strip is removed, carrying the wax and hair with it.
